YouTube Unveiled a New Feature

The Google-owned corporation has been working hard to add a variety of new features to the app in order to solve this and make it more competitive. Real-time lyrics, one of these capabilities, are already accessible on a number of third-party apps, but YouTube Music is just now integrating it.

Since it allows users to hear several YouTube versions of songs, YouTube Music has a vast catalog of music. It has been criticized, nevertheless, for being behind in terms of features.

How does the new feature of YouTube work?

By displaying the words on the screen and underlining each line as it is sung. In addition, real-time lyrics enable users to sing along to their favorite songs.

According to 9to5Google, this capability is currently rolling out to both Android and iPhone users. It is important to note that the lyrics tab in the Android version does not currently feature any visual effects. However, on iPhones, the lyrics page has a backdrop blur effect, making it a more visually appealing experience.

Song and album credits are now displayed on the YouTube Music app thanks to a recent update. Users of this feature can see the credits for each song and album they are currently listening to.

Conclusion

YouTube Music recently announced a new function that allows users to automatically download recently played songs. Currently, Android supports this feature, which is turned on by default.

There is no specific playlist for recently played songs on the Library tab. However, this feature will automatically download up to 200 recently played songs for users.

It was first released in the middle of January. In addition, it was highlighted as one of YouTube Music’s February 2023 New Features Highlights.

However, it wasn’t until last month that it was readily accessible to Android users. As of the right moment, YouTube Music on iOS does not support this feature.
