WhatsApp Brings New Update for Android Users

WhatsApp

For Android users, WhatsApp has begun rolling out a new feature. In addition, it will enable them to manage contacts directly within the app. Additionally, this will eliminate the need to exit it in order to add or change contacts.

According to WABetaInfo’s report, a small group of beta testers using the most recent beta version may already have access to the new function. Additionally, more users will be able to access it in the coming days.

How will the new update of WhatsApp work?

By opening the app’s contact list and choosing “New Contact,” users may see if the feature is available to them or not.

We currently have a shortcut to add contacts to WhatsApp. However, it takes users to their phone’s contacts app. Thus, users who don’t yet have the new feature may also see a “New Contact” option.

However, the most recent updates have allowed some beta testers to add new contacts without quitting WhatsApp. However, if they can do this, the feature is accessible to them.

Closing Note

According to the study, users can add unfamiliar contacts when they text. In addition, users can call them without using the contacts app. Users may also edit their contacts using WhatsApp. Thus, the feature is not just for adding contacts.
