Microsoft has recently announced the availability of the Voice Clarity feature on Windows 11. In addition, it uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to enhance the video calling experience. Previously exclusive to Surface devices, this feature is now accessible to all users. Additionally, it has made its debut in the latest Canary build for Windows 11.
About the New Voice Clarity Feature of Microsoft
The complex AI model powers the Voice Clarity feature. In addition, it aims to suppress background noise, reduce reverberation, and cancel echoes in real time. Additionally, Microsoft describes it as a state-of-the-art AI technology that enhances the audio experience on Windows.
The Voice Clarity feature on Windows 11 is automatically enabled. In addition, users can use this feature in applications that use Communications Signal Processing Mode. Additionally, it includes Phone Link and WhatsApp. Further, this new feature supports x64 and Arm64 CPUs. Moreover, users do not need any additional hardware.
The Voice Clarity feature will benefit users who frequently engage in online meetings. In addition, it will enhance the audio experience for PC games that utilize Communications Signal Processing Mode for online communication.
Other Features in the Latest Canary Build
In addition to the Voice Clarity feature, the latest Canary build of Windows 11 introduces several other new features :
Access to Recent Photos and Screenshots: Users can now access the most recent photos, screenshots, and pictures taken from their Android devices in the Snipping Tool on Windows 11. After enabling this feature, users will receive notifications on their PCs. In addition, this will work whenever a user takes a new photo or screenshot on their Android phone.
Support for USB 80Gbps: The latest build adds support for the latest generation USB standard, USB 80Gbps, on select devices running on Intel Core 14th Gen HX-series mobile processors like the Razer Blade 18.
