Determining Trending Topics
Meta has stated that the machine learning algorithm will determine the “Today’s Topics” section in Threads. This algorithm takes into consideration various factors. In addition, it includes the number of users discussing a particular topic and the level of interaction with posts related to that topic. By analyzing these factors, the algorithm identifies the most relevant and popular topics to feature as trending on Threads.
