Renowned British Automaker Lotus Cars partnered with British audio solutions business KEF to unveil one of the most potent home audio options. In addition, it is the limited edition run of LS60 Wireless speakers bearing the Lotus name.
About the Speaker by Lotus Cars and KEF
Founded in Maidstone, Kent, in 1961, KEF is out to create high-end audio equipment. HiFi speakers, subwoofers, architecture speakers, wireless speakers, and headphones are some of its most well-liked product lines.
Regarding the KEF LS60 Wireless Lotus Edition, the company chose to take a minimalistic approach. In addition, they use hardly perceptible branding components. It has modest gold lettering at the front reading “Lotus NYO” and “Lotus Edition” in green at the back. Additionally, the finish is an iconic British racing green commonly seen on Lotus cars.
Features and Specification
The three-and-a-half-foot tall tower speakers are technically capable of a wide range of inputs. In addition, it has wireless streaming features like AirPlay2, Google Chromecast, Roon Ready, and others.
Each speaker has two drive units: an HF of 0.75 inches via a vented aluminum dome and an MF of 4 inches through an aluminum cone. The speakers’ overall power output rates are at 1,400W, enough to fill any space. The speaker frequency range measure at 24 to 36 kHz. However, the manufacturer notes that this depends on EQ settings.
Closing Note
After KEF received the contract to provide the audio systems for the most recent Lotus Cars models, the Emira and Eletre, the LS60 speakers appeared as a sort of celebration. People can order the speakers or learn more about them on the KEF website.
