Google revealed that it is rolling out the latest features for space managers in Chat, including the power to control who can be added to or removed from a space.

The business also unveiled the “Space configuration” feature, which will let space managers decide whether or not users can modify the space’s name, icon, description, and rules, as well as whether or not Chat history is enabled for the space.

However the “Conversation moderation” feature “authorizes space managers to decide whether users can utilize @all in a space,” the tech giant claimed in a Workspace Updates blog post.

Users with personal Google Accounts cannot access the new capabilities, which lack admin control.

Managers now have the ability to change a space’s access from limited to discoverable or vice versa, delete a space, delete messages, remove participants, and add new participants.
