YouTube Music Roll Out New Feature for Users to Auto-Download Recently Played Songs

Feature

YouTube, a well-known social networking and online video-sharing platform owned by Google is apparently working on a significant new feature. A recent report claims that Android users can soon automatically download recently played music.

How to enable the auto-download feature?

For users with a Premium subscription, the new “recently played songs” toggle can locate in Settings > Downloads and storage, according to 9to5Google. Users can now download up to 200 recently played songs with the new update. According to the research, consumers may already have this option turned on in their devices.

Feature

Also, it is separate from the current “smart downloads” feature, which supports up to 500 songs and features songs considered “favorites.”

According to the source, YouTube Music on iOS has not yet made an announcement regarding the recently played song setting. Live, Cover, and Remix labels are now available in the Other Performances section of the Now Playing Related page. In addition, in search results, the business has also been verified.

Other Features Coming up!

In addition, YouTube is adding song and album credits to its “YouTube Music,” music streaming service. When listening to their favorite music, users will be able to see song and album credits thanks to this new feature, according to 9To5Google.

Feature

Many other streaming services, including Tidal, have long included the functionality where users can instantly see extensive song information, such as who the performer is and who wrote, produced, and composed each track. While opening the overflow menu on YouTube Music, users will notice an option to “See song credits” if the feature is made available in their account.
