Interestingly, WhatsApp’s green color bar will no longer be present in the main conversation section of this redesigned layout. The company has made a possible comparison between the new WhatsApp design and Google’s Material Design 3 standards.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is about to release the update for Android 2.23.21.12 beta users. The instant messaging service previously disclosed that it was developing a new group chat function to serve as a reminder system for community chats.

This version features updated icons that improve the platform’s overall appeal. In addition, it will initially only be accessible to a small group of beta users. Additionally, WhatsApp is changing the color of the theme for the chat bubbles. Further, it will include floating action buttons in both the dark and light modes.

According to reports, the update will be made available through the Google Play Beta program. In addition, this will be specifically in the Android 2.23.21.9 beta version. It is significant to note that this function is not yet accessible to testers. However, the company has planned to add it in a future app release.
