Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is currently experimenting with a feature. In addition, it will enable users to create and share complete sticker packs directly within the app. As reported by WABetaInfo, this new functionality is in beta testing. Additionally, it is accessible to a limited group of Android users through the latest beta update (version 2.24.25.2) available on the Google Play Store.
WhatsApp Simplifying Sticker Pack Sharing
WhatsApp is still developing the ability to create custom sticker packs. However, beta testers can already share entire packs with their contacts. As a result, this indicates that a broader release is on the horizon.
This feature aims to simplify the process of sharing sticker packs. In addition, it will allow users to easily exchange their favorite collections. A new three-dot menu within the sticker picker in any chat offers users two options. Additionally, they can share the sticker pack or remove it from their library.
Sharing First-Party and Third-Party Sticker Packs
For first-party sticker packs created by WhatsApp, sharing will likely generate a direct link to the official sticker store. Thus, it will enable recipients to download the pack without re-upload stickers already available online. Conversely, users can upload third-party sticker packs. In addition, they can directly send to individual contacts or groups. As a result, it enhances the sharing experience for custom collections.
Limited Availability for Beta Testers
Currently, this feature is available to select beta testers who have installed the latest WhatsApp beta for Android. WhatsApp has also teased this new capability on its official X account (formerly Twitter), suggesting that a wider rollout is forthcoming.

WhatsApp Anticipated Global Launch and Early Access
There is no confirmed timeline for a global launch. However, the advanced stage of beta testing indicates that the feature could be widely available soon. Users interested in accessing the feature early can join WhatsApp’s beta program on the Google Play Store to try it out before its general release.
