Availability of Threads App
The app debuted for consumers worldwide a day before its scheduled Thursday morning launch. As of right now, Threads may be found online at threads.net, in the Google Play Store, and the Apple App Store.
Since the announcement a few days ago, Meta’s shares have increased; on Wednesday, they increased 3%. In a blog post on the platform’s Instagram account, Instagram stated, “Our vision with Threads is to take what Instagram does best and expand that to text. Thus, creating a positive and creative space to express your ideas.”
Rival of Twitter
Currently, Threads is Twitter’s most significant rival. In the first four hours, Threads saw more than five million signups, according to Zuckerberg.
The app attracted two million signups on the App Store in the first two hours and is still growing. Additionally, Zuckerberg sent out a tweet for the first time in ten years to honor his Twitter competitor with a meme.
