TAG Heuer Unveils Three New Dial Pieces

TAG Heuer

TAG Heuer released three new Monaco Skeleton Dial watches to commemorate the illustrious 2023 Monaco Grand Prix. The legendary Monaco collection from Tag Heuer has recently received vibrant color accents.

The TAG Heuer Monaco is still a cutting-edge example of modern design. In addition, it also incorporates elements of pop culture. Since the 1960s, the company has firmly established a racing tradition. Additionally, the company is well-known during the 1970s due to its association with Steve McQueen.

Since then, the watch has undergone a number of design and technological transformations to adopt an avant-garde mindset.

The three dial options for the contemporary skeleton watch are Original Blue, Racing Red, and Turquoise. In addition, this highlights the watch’s exposed mechanism.

Each watch design provides a cutting-edge depiction of the racing world in vivid designs. In addition, it gives the timepieces a more modern appearance.

Every watch has a unique story to tell. The Original Blue has blue and red accents on the dial. However, the blue draws even more attention to the column wheel and the oscillating mass engravings. The first-ever TAG Heuer Monaco blue dial inspires the design.

The Racing Red gives a nod to TAG Heuer Monaco’s racing DNA. Red often references the racing sparks on the tracks. However, the black and silver details are visible on the dial. Additionally, it gives the watch a sleek look.

Additional red notes are on the column wheel and engravings, visible on the oscillating mass. Thus, this completes the race-inspired aesthetic.

Finally, the third watch in turquoise is a fresh new take on the Monaco design as a nod to Monaco’s vivid coastline. In addition, the red color represents the racing heritage. Further, the turquoise is eye-catching. Additionally, it is sported on the column wheel and engravings on the oscillating mass.

Closing Note

The in-house Heuer 02 movement powers all three watches. The movement allows for a conventional column wheel that activates the chronograph. On the other hand, it also boasts an 80-hour power reserve. Additionally, it is the biggest chronograph in the watch industry.
