According to a recent rumor, Samsung is considering releasing the Galaxy S23 FE in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2023.

Sam Mobile claims that Samsung may forego Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets in favor of the S23 FE variant. In all countries, including the US, it might choose to use its own Exynos 2200 chip.

Recall that the Exynos 2200 SoC, which was Samsung’s first CPU with an AMD GPU and was a mess, drove the Galaxy S22 series in Europe.

Specification and Features of Samsung Fan Edition

The 50MP rear camera in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE specifications would be a significant improvement over the model it replaces.

It is well known that Samsung’s Galaxy Fan Edition (FE) line of smartphones falls into the upper-midrange price range.

The global chipset problem prevented the South Korean tech giant from releasing the Galaxy S22 FE in 2022. However, in 2023, it may update its Galaxy FE series.

An earlier report by the Korean newspaper Daily Hankooki claimed that the tech giant would probably introduce the Galaxy S23 FE in August or September of 2023.

The Galaxy S23 FE will be a scaled-back variant of the recently unveiled iPhone-competing Galaxy S23 series. But, the Apple iPhone 15 line, which may unveil this autumn, may be the real rival to the Galaxy S23 line.

The Galaxy S23 FE might face competition from the OnePlus 11R, which was revealed in India alongside the OnePlus 11, depending on price and specifications.
