Sam Edelman, a footwear brand, announced a new resale program for its product with the tech platform Archive.
The peer-to-peer program is “ReLove.” It will enable customers to advertise their used Sam Edelman shoes for sale on a specific page via the company’s current website.
About the New Program of Sam Edelman
Customers will be able to choose the items they want to sell. In addition, they can generate a listing with images and a description using the technology.
Once an item is sell, the seller will give the option of receiving cash or Sam Edelman credit as payment. In addition, it will provide a prepaid shipping label to send the item to the buyer.
“At Sam Edelman, we take pride in using the highest quality materials to design pieces that are made to last,” said Jesse Edelman, the company’s general manager, and senior vice president, in a press statement.
ReLove allows us to make our products last longer while providing customers with another option when purchasing our shoes.
It expands on Archive’s expanding network of partner companies. The company creates its own resale programs with the help of the company’s technology.
Closing Note
The company has collaborated with brands, including The North Face, Ba&sh, and Sandro. Thus, it will introduce initiatives that are analogous or use alternative business models, such as The North Face’s in-store take-back program.
The CEO and co-founder of Archive, Emily Gittins, said on the new collaboration: “We are thrilled to join with Sam Edelman to provide resale to the brand’s customers for the first time through the introduction of the ReLove program.
“ReLove is a custom product that designs an extension of the brand. In addition, it ensures that beloved Sam Edelman pieces can live multiple lives.”
