A new mid-range OPPO smartphone, the OPPO A1 5G, was discovered on China Telecom’s official listing. Although OPPO hasn’t yet made the handset officially official, the listing essentially gave away its main features and cost.
The Feature of the New Model of Oppo
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC powers the A1 5G’s internal components, which also include either 8 or 12GB of RAM. In addition, it has a single 256GB storage option. Moreover, the smartphone has a 5000mAh battery.
The smartphone has an FHD+ 6.72-inch IPS LCD display. Nevertheless, the listing omitted to mention the panel’s refresh rate.
A punch-hole cutout in the display contains an 8MP selfie camera. The back camera has a 50MP primary + 2MP depth dual-camera combination.
Additional noteworthy features include a 5G connection, Android 13 via ColorOS 13, an IR blaster at the top, a 3.5mm audio connector, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In addition, a choice of Cabernet Orange, Ocean Blue, or Sandstone Black as the phone’s color.
Pricing
The A1 5G costs CNY 2099 (US$ 305) in China for the 8/256GB model and CNY 2299 (US$ 334 ) for the higher-end 12/256GB model. There is no information on the smartphone’s global availability as of the time of writing.
