Last week, OnePlus announced the release of a unique OnePlus 11 variant. In addition, the company claimed its construction from “unprecedented” materials. The business has now provided more information on this new version.
The new version name is OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Limited Edition, which the smartphone company announced on Weibo. A few days back, the company announced the phone’s name after OnePlus published a teaser picture of it overlaid on Jupiter.
OnePlus also stated that the phone is constructed of ‘3D microcrystalline rock. However, it made no mention of the structure or any additional information.
Whatever the case, this merely refers to a particular kind of rock with crystals that are too small to be seen by the naked eye.
In specific, chert, jasper, and flint are examples of microcrystalline quartz, but this does not imply that the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Limited Edition is constructed from one of these substances.

What to expect from the OnePlus 11?
The company did point out that compared to glass used in traditional phone backs, the manufacturing yield of its 3D microcrystalline rock is only half as high. In addition, OnePlus claimed that as part of the creation of the material, it created nine significant processes, including “natural graining.”
We’ll probably have to wait until the March 29 launch to get an official glimpse at this material since the company didn’t reveal any images. However, tipper SnoopyTech recently shared a purported live image that might hint at what to anticipate.
