In a recent announcement, Meta has significantly enhanced its AI chatbot’s capabilities and expanded its availability. Chatbots are now available on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. Additionally, it is now available to users across 22 countries. This update includes new language support. As a result, it will enable interactions in Devanagari and Roman script Hindi.

As detailed in a post on Meta’s newsroom, the AI chatbot is now accessible in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Cameroon. Additionally, the company has upgraded the chatbot’s multilingual functionality to include French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Further, they have plans to incorporate more languages in the future.

Advanced Image Generation and Editing Features

The latest update introduces advanced image generation and editing features to the AI chatbot. A new feature called “Imagine Me” allows users to upload an image of themselves. In addition, they can generate custom photos based on prompts. Examples provided by Meta include prompts like “Imagine me on a beach vacation” and “Imagine me as royalty.” This feature is in beta testing and available only in the US.

Furthermore, users can now make inline edits to images generated by Meta AI. After users create an image, they can add text prompts to modify various elements. In addition, it includes changing an ice cream to a cake or altering clothing colors, hairstyles, and backgrounds. The company may introduce an “Edit with AI” button next month. As a result, it will further enhance the image editing capabilities.

Meta also facilitates easier sharing of AI-generated images across its platforms. The AI chatbot will now integrate into the feed, stories, and comments sections of Instagram and Facebook, as well as in messages on all three apps.
