LinkedIn is now testing a feature that enables users to directly use generative AI within the LinkedIn share box, according to Keren Baruch, the company’s Director of Products.

How will the new feature work?

LinkedIn is getting ready to launch a service that will let users utilize generative AI to produce a rough draft of their postings. The AI chatbot will produce an initial draft of the user’s post based on a minimum of 30 words. In addition, the user provides defining the primary idea. Before putting the document online, users will have the chance to review and change it. 

Keren Baruch stresses the significance of responsible AI. She also said that LinkedIn will thoroughly test this experience before making it available to all members.

For the purpose of creating content for user profiles and job descriptions, LinkedIn has introduced generative AI capabilities. The business started testing this technology in March. In addition, it intends to make it accessible to all LinkedIn Premium customers.
