Licensing Expo reveals the first look of a fashion showroom featuring a fashion theme for 2023. The expo is the world’s biggest and most prominent event dedicated to licensing and brand extension. The event will take place on June 13–15 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
With 16 showrooms showcasing some of the most popular and innovative fashion ranges across apparel, footwear, and accessories, the modern, interactive experience seeks to immerse visitors in the world of fashion licensing. The area will feature various presentations, from high-end couture to high-street collections.
Brand partnerships, nostalgic IP, and luxury crossovers are sweeping the market, accounting for $28.433 million of the $315.5 billion worldwide licensing industry. Licensing Expo’s aim is to shed light on this burgeoning market sector. In addition, it motivates manufacturers and retailers to integrate brands into their coming product lines.
There is no area of fashion that licensing has not yet impacted, from cultural nostalgia movements to celebrity partnerships and promotions to cross-brand collaborations with luxury brands, “said Ella Haynes, the Licensing Expo’s event director.

According to Kelly Helfman, President of Informa Markets Fashion, “During the past few seasons, manufacturers have displayed licensed clothing more frequently. It was on display at MAGIC Las Vegas, the premier wholesale fashion show for cutting-edge, young modern clothing. In order to reach a larger consumer base, brands can leverage their combined brand strength and product variety diversity through licensing.”
Licensing Expo offers free registration to retailers, producers, product designers, and creatives. Thousands are likely to attend, including Urban Outfitters, Crocs, Macy’s, Primark, Target, Mad Engine, Bioworld, Zulily, Hot Topic, Fruit of the Loom, and Inditex Group, which is responsible for Zara and Pull & Bear, among others.
