A new foldable smartphone from Huawei is supposedly on the way after the company underwent a significant technological improvement. The Mate X3 is the suspected name of the handset, which will have an improved battery.

The high-silicon anode material that Huawei will use will help to increase the smartphone’s battery capacity, which is likely to be 5060mAh. The foldable Huawei Mate X3 smartphone will have a larger display, resulting in more battery use. The industry is now limited in its ability to increase the cathode material’s energy density for cellphone batteries.

The new battery advancement will provide a superior energy density in addition to a larger battery capacity. However, there are reportedly some technical issues with the high-silicon anode batteries utilized in Huawei’s new phone. They have a high resistivity, a low first charge and discharge efficiency, and a big volume expansion coefficient.

In order to support the supplement lithium, it is also said that Huawei is including the use of lithium foil. It will boost the device’s first charge’s efficiency and discharge it by 26%. In silicon anode batteries, Huawei has used carbon nanotube technology even more. The device’s silicon anode batteries’ performance will further improve by this technology, which will increase the conductivity by four times.

The next foldable device will be powered by high-silicon anode batteries, which have a longer and larger battery and a 21% higher energy density than conventional graphite anode materials.

With the addition of artificial intelligence parallel power management, 15-layer security protection, and intelligent charging management, Huawei is able to charge devices more effectively and safely.
