Google Unveils New “Help Me Visualize” Feature

Google

Google, a leading technology provider, has begun to roll out a new feature for Google Slides, powered by artificial intelligence (AI). The ‘Help Me Visualise’ option in Google Slides enables users to create backgrounds and graphics for their presentation projects. The function was initially introduced last month at Google I/O 2023.

Find the ‘Help me visualize’ side panel in Slides. In addition, the user can enter a prompt there to begin using the function. Please be aware that users on PCs are progressively receiving the feature. It might not be accessible to all users right now.

How to use the new AI-powered feature on Google Slides?

To begin, users must accept the terms and conditions of Google Workspace Labs. In addition, they have to register for an account. Use Google Slides’ “Help me visualize” prompt to have the program generate pictures for users. For instance, users could ask Google Slides to make an image of a picnic or an abstract painting.

Users have six render style options after inputting the prompt. In addition, it includes photography, clip art, backgrounds, flat lays, and illustrations.

Google has begun rolling out viewer mode in Google Meet in the meanwhile. Viewers are attendees who cannot contribute their audio or video during a meeting. Co-hosts and contributors are people invited to meetings. In addition, they lead, present, or moderate the meeting.

For instance, designating people as “viewers” during large events on Google Meet, such as webinars or town halls, can help to minimize interruptions from audio. Additionally, it keeps the audience’s attention on the speaker and your meeting’s agenda.

Closing Note

Viewers can use Meet features like Q&As and polls, according to a blog update on the Google Workspace article. In-meeting chat and emoji reactions will not be available to viewers. However, viewer support for these features is on the way.
