Google has announced the launch of a new AI-driven feature for its note-taking app. In addition, this feature is specifically for Android devices. This feature, called ‘Help Me Create a List,’ will help users generate detailed and organized lists based on their input.
Google New Feature: How does it work?
With this feature, users can simply enter a prompt or phrase into Google Keep. Additionally, the AI will provide relevant list items, categories, and suggestions for additional details. For example, if a user types “grocery shopping list,” the AI might recommend items such as “fruits,” “vegetables,” “dairy,” and “pantry staples.” A Google spokesperson expressed excitement about the feature, stating, “By leveraging the power of AI, we’re making it easier than ever for users to create well-structured and informative lists.”
Availability
Google is currently rolling out the ‘Help Me Create a List’ feature for Android users. However, Google has not confirmed when it will be available on other platforms, including iOS and the web.
Steps to Use the Google Feature
- Open Google Keep: Launch the Google Keep app on your Android device.
- Create a New List: Tap the plus (+) button to initiate a new list.
- Start Typing: Enter a prompt or phrase related to the list you wish to create, such as “grocery shopping,” “travel packing,” or “weekend plans.”
- View AI Suggestions: As you type, the AI will suggest relevant list items, categories, and additional details.
- Add or Modify Suggestions: You can tap on the suggested items to include them in your list. Additionally, you can modify or delete suggestions.
- Customize Your List: After adding the basic items, you can further personalize your list by adding details, rearranging items, or applying colors or labels.
- Save Your List: After you have completed your list, tap the save button.
