The tech giant Google has announced a brand-new shopping function. In addition, it uses artificial intelligence (AI), enabling customers in the US to virtually try on goods on various models.
Google added the new feature in response to the rising desire for hybrid online shopping methods. Google revealed that 59% of customers were unsatisfied with an item they had purchased online. This is because it fits them differently than they had anticipated.
About the New Feature of Google
Customers may now choose models using the feature. In addition, it comes in sizes XXS to 4XL. Additionally, it represents various skin tones, body shapes, ethnicities, and hair kinds.
According to Google, the generative AI model is also capable of properly simulating how a piece of clothing might hang, fold, cling, stretch, and create wrinkles on the body.
Additionally, consumers may fine-tune purchases using the platform’s new guided refinements. Further, it uses machine learning and visual matching algorithms to adjust inputs like color and style.
Customers will also get access to product listings from other online retailers.
Closing Note
Lilian Rincon, senior director of product for shopping, wrote in a blog post on the new feature: “We think that AI will continue to enhance our lives in ways big and small. In addition, it includes making routine tasks like shopping a little bit more helpful (and enjoyable).
