About the New Update on Twitter
With this update, users can react to any message they receive, not just the most recent one. Like on Instagram or WhatsApp, users can now reply to direct messages (DMs) on Twitter with several emotions.
Notably, Twitter is also releasing encrypted DM 1.0. In addition, it ought to increase the security of user-to-user direct messages.
Twitter will soon add support for voice and video chat. According to Musk, this function will enable users to call anyone in the world without giving them their phone number.
Musk tweeted the following announcement on the most recent changes to Twitter: “With the current version of the app, users can DM reply to any message in the thread (not just the most recent) and use any emoji reaction.
Officials will make the initial release of direct messages tomorrow. This will soon advance in sophistication.
