Elon Musk confirmed two new premium X (previously Twitter) subscription levels. The billionaire has said that he hasn’t yet disclosed the costs of these two subscription plans. However, one will be less expensive than the current US$ 8/month X Premium subscription. On the other hand, the other will cost more. In addition, it will allow users to opt out of seeing ads on the social media platform.

Musk wrote in a post on X revealing the new subscription plans that two additional tiers of X Premium subscriptions are arriving soon. The other is more expensive but lacks ads. However, the first is less expensive with full features.

X has implemented a $1 yearly subscription for new users in New Zealand and the Philippines. This will address the issue of bots and spammers on X. However, it will also ensure platform accessibility and maintain a reasonable fee.
