Apple announced that users can now stream its Apple Podcasts app through all major web browsers. In addition, it includes Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Additionally, it is available across more than 170 countries.

The design of the newly launched web experience will simplify podcast access for anyone using a web browser, regardless of the device. Previously, web listening was possible. However, users had to search for a show online and navigate to its Apple Podcasts Preview page to listen to episodes.
New Interface and Features
The revamped Apple Podcasts web platform introduces a fresh interface with features that were once exclusive to the app. Users can now browse millions of podcasts, explore sections like Library and Top Charts, subscribe to premium content, and more.
Those with Apple Accounts can pause podcasts, save their listening progress, and view their followed shows and subscriptions. Users without an Apple Account can still browse and listen but will have limited functionality.
Apple Competing with Other Podcast Platforms
With this update, Apple Podcasts enters the market alongside various startups and independent platforms, In addition, it offers web-based podcast players, such as Castbox, Podbay, Podcast App, and Podurama, in addition to major music streaming services like YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
