Apple will shortly release a new app for classical music fans to enjoy their favorite tunes. The Apple Music Classical program, which offers a rich and curated experience for iOS and Android users, will debut on March 28. For current Apple Music subscribers, the app will be free.
Aside from China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, which will shortly follow, Apple Music Classical will be accessible in all nations where Apple Music is offered. Additionally, Apple Music Classical is compatible with all iPhone models operating iOS 15.4 or later.

The “ultimate classical music experience,” in Apple’s words, is provided by Apple Music Classical, which the company describes as having thousands of exclusive albums, countless skillfully curated playlists, in-depth biographies of artists, extensive guides to important works, user-friendly browsing tools, and a host of other features.
The audio tracks will be streamed in the “highest audio quality available,” according to Apple, which is up to 192 kHz/24-bit Hi-Res Lossless and with support for spatial audio. Along with thousands of editorial notes containing biographies of composers, descriptions of important works, and other information, Apple will offer additional metadata to assist users in recognizing the work and the performer performing.
Apple Music Classical App Available for Pre Booking
Apple Music Classical can be pre-ordered today on the App Store, and “once pre-order is complete, Apple Music Classical will automatically download at launch to enable immediate listening for users who have Auto Update turned on in their settings,” said Apple in the press release. However, the Android app for the same is reportedly “coming soon” and may be released after the iOS version.
