According to reports, the tech giant Apple is developing an AI-driven health counseling service named Quartz. In addition, it is also working on measuring emotions and intends to release an iPad version of the iPhone Health app this year.

About the AI Health Coach of Apple

The AI-powered health coaching service’s goal is to keep users motivated to get out. In addition, this will make better dietary choices and get more restful sleep.

The service’s concept is to create coaching programs that are uniquely suited to each user using AI and data from their Apple Watch.

The health coaching service is likely to have a monthly subscription, just like Apple’s other services.

Several Apple departments are apparently working on the project. This includes those in charge of Siri, health, and AI. However, the service may launch next year.

According to the article, Apple’s Health app will also acquire tools for treating vision disorders, including nearsightedness and tracking emotions.

Users can log their moods, respond to questions, and compare their results over time with the emotion tracker’s debut edition. According to reports, Apple envisions using algorithms to decipher a user’s mood from their speech, text, and other data in the future.

Closing Note

Gurman reports that Apple will introduce the new iPad Health app at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.

Users can view their health information, such as ECG findings, on a bigger screen after the app’s introduction.

The upcoming release of iPadOS 17, which is likely to happen later this year, may include the new app.

According to Gurman, Apple started its health initiatives back in 2014 when it released the specific Health app and the Apple Watch a year later. Since then, Apple has updated its wristwatch with a number of health functions, such as fall detection and sleep monitoring.
