According to a recent announcement from Apple, consumers in six more nations—Austria, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Portugal—can now access Emergency SOS via satellite.
The technology is available on all iPhone 14 models. In addition, it lets users contact emergency services even when there is no cellular or Wi-Fi signal.
Also, users can now launch the Find My app. In addition, they can communicate their location via satellite if they wish to reassure friends and family of their locations while traveling off the grid, the company stated in a statement.
About the Apple Emergency Service

Using Emergency SOS via satellite, if a user cannot contact emergency services because there is no cellular or Wi-Fi coverage accessible, an intuitive interface for getting help through satellite appears on their iPhone.
