As part of their first-ever cooperative football boot line, sportswear behemoth Adidas and Italian fashion label Prada fuses Prada’s design aesthetic with Adidas’ advanced football technologies.
About the Collection of Adidas and Prada
Adidas and Prada’s line is reimagining three popular Adidas products. In addition, it includes the Predator Accuracy, the Copa Pure, and the X Crazyfast using opulent fabrics and intricate craftsmanship. In addition, the design cues are distinctive to Prada’s Linea Rossa.
According to the sportswear company, each football boot includes a lining and top made of the “finest leather,” using the substance in “fresh ways for Adidas in football.” In addition, it includes strong red Linea Rossa iconography and a minimalist black, white, and silver basis.
Highlights of the Boot Collection
Highlights include the Adidas Football for Prada X Crazyfast reinvented with premium leather and Adidas ‘Fusion Skin’ for an upscale finish. In addition, it has a semi-transparent mono-mesh material on the mid-foot cage. Further, the original grids have modified the boots. Additionally, it will showcase the triangles of Prada’s brand identity.
In contrast, the company has redesigned the Predator Accuracy with a nubuck finish. In addition, the boots are wrapped in “Fusion Skin” for a lighter, more performance-focused final product. Along with triangle-shaped spikes that honor Prada’s design DNA, the boot has a Prada Linea Rossa stripe on the tongue and heel.
Availability
From May 25, the collection will be available in limited quantities online at prada.com and on the Adidas Confirmed App. In addition, it will be available in a few select Prada stores.
