Netflix, the streaming titan best known for its smash hit drama series Squid Game, is again making waves with its rapidly growing library of interactive games.
The company recently announced plans to introduce 40 new games to its platform in 2023. In addition, the company is collaborating with partners to build 30 more games. Additionally, Netflix’s own game studio is currently developing 16 new games.
About the game
This gaming expansion is part of a larger Netflix strategy to provide its viewers with various entertainment choices. The company plans to release a new game every month in 2023, focusing on making games inspired by well-liked Netflix episodes.
Another Too Hot to Handle game is likely to release later this year. One of these games, Too Hot to Handle: Love is A Game, is already available on the platform. Both draw their inspiration from the Netflix original dating series of the same name.
In a statement, Netflix said, “We want to create a diverse portfolio of games in various genres and forms because we think everyone can enjoy games if they find one (or many!) that they enjoy.
Beginning with Monument Valley 1 and Monument Valley 2, with more to follow, ustwo’s creative and stunning Monument Valley franchise will be available on Netflix.
