Nothing introduces the launch of Phone (2). However, the company has not revealed the information about its upcoming online launch event, at which it is likely to disclose the release of the phone date.
About the Nothing Phone
The London-based IT company released Phone (1) last summer. In addition, it has now shipped half a million handsets. Phone (2) follows the customary 12-month iteration cycle shared by the majority of its competitors.
Additionally, it arrives one year after the release of its predecessor. It will be Nothing’s second album to release this year after the March release of Ear (2).
The phone’s distinctive Glyph Interface is likely to return after staring through the tentacles on the mystery teaser video provided by the brand.
There is little information available about the new smartphone. The company has not said whether Phone (2) will be sold in the United States when it launches. In addition, it is excellent news for brand supporters who couldn’t buy Phone (1) locally.
The company had previously only sold its earphones in the area. Thus, it will be interesting to see how it expands into the biggest economy in the world. CEO Carl Pei explained that the company “decided to make the U.S. our number one priority.”
He added that the reason the company did not launch Phone (1) in the U.S. was that “we were only in our second year. In addition, our hands tied building the team and the products.” We can move forward at this point because we are on more stable ground.
