WhatsApp Roll Out New Screen Sharing Feature

WhatsApp

The Meta-owned WhatsApp is developing a new function. In addition, it will enhance the video calling experience for its users.

About the New Update of WhatsApp

WABetaInfo has provided a detailed explanation of how the screen-sharing feature in WhatsApp will operate. According to their findings, users will notice a new icon within the call control view. As a result, it will serve as a prompt for initiating screen sharing. Once users opt to share their screen, the app will record the contents displayed on their own screen. Thus, it will transmit to the recipient.

How will it work?

Users will have full control over this feature, according to the study. Even if users can stop transmitting their screen content at any time during the video call, it will continue during the entire session. Further, this function won’t operate unless users explicitly agree to share the information on their screen.
