WhatsApp

In upcoming updates for Android devices, WhatsApp plans to roll out a number of new capabilities. Some of these features are already available globally. However, others are currently only accessible to some beta testers.

About the New Feature of WhatsApp

Some new features include the option to mute calls from unknown numbers, and a revised user interface with a bottom navigation bar. In addition, it has the capacity to construct single-vote surveys, etc.

The popular instant messaging service also tests an Android feature with icons placed in a bottom navigation bar. In addition, it is similar to WhatsApp for iOS.

According to reports, the instant messaging service has advanced its capability to block calls from unauthorized numbers.

In addition, WhatsApp mentioned it back in March. As per the recent update of WABetaInfo, this feature is available to WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.10.7.

How will the new feature work?

A toggle switch in the Settings > Privacy menu now allows beta testers to silence incoming calls from unknown numbers. Due to this feature, users can now mute calls from potentially spam phone numbers. Nevertheless, these calls will continue to show up in the Calls log and alerts page.

Users need to download the most recent WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.10.7 from the Google Play Store in order to use the new functionality.

Version 2.23.10.6 of WhatsApp beta for Android contains an updated user interface with a bottom navigation bar reminiscent of WhatsApp for iOS.

With this modification, Android users may rapidly move between multiple app tabs. The new interface is presently only accessible to a small number of beta testers. However, it is likely that a larger audience will have access to it soon.

Closing Note

Creating single-vote polls, using filters to find polls in chats, and getting notifications when people vote on polls are just a few of the new capabilities that WhatsApp recently unveiled.
