Today, Tinder is launching an AI-powered update to its Photo Verification function. In addition, this now has allowed app users to demonstrate to others that they are neither a bot nor a catfish.

Currently, Tinder is improving this procedure by requiring a video selfie rather than a photo.

Instead of managing the video selfie verification process internally, Tinder says it is working with a third-party partner. However, the company chose not to disclose the vendor.
How will the new feature of Tinder Work?
However, it says that the user will need to respond to a series of video prompts. The AI will then use these responses to determine whether the person in the video and the person in the profile photo wants to verify are the same.
Users who wish to be Photo Verified or who want to keep their current verification will need to record a video selfie as the upgrades roll out, starting today.
The possibility to submit photographs will no longer be available thanks to this functionality.
According to the firm, existing Photo Verified users will soon start getting notifications in the app to update to the most recent version of Photo Verification. If they want to preserve their blue checkmarks on Tinder.
It solves the issue of lapsed Tinder users returning to the app only to find their confirmed photographs are now years old.
In addition, it ensures that members are certified through the more comprehensive video selfie function.
Later on, Tinder will roll out additional features that let users limit who they may see in their suggestions by using their Message Settings.
